Happy Friday to all our favorite CityScapers! We hope you have an adventurous weekend planned.
We are approaching one of our favorite races in Austin TX on October 20th. Not only is it an excuse for us to get out of the cold temps in Denver but also a great opportunity to experience some amazing music.
Our race this weekend will again be held at Aussies Bar on Barton Springs Rd. Check in will begin at 11:00 am and run through 11:50 am. The race will begin promptly at Noon. We have several new challenges and games at the finish line so bring your great attitude and sense of fun. We are continuing our costume contest so come prepared.

Our next races will be in Phoenix and Tucson in December (yep, taking November off for some fun). Phoenix CityScapers please note… We just learned that the lease between Sliders and Chase field has expired and they are not renewing. We have contacted several venues and settled on Coach & Willies in downtown Phoenix. We will have a great venue and some great drink/food specials.
Lastly, to keep the races fresh and different we will be trying some new ideas. We have successfully used text back challenges in the past and will continue the use is these. In addition we will be adding the use of QR Codes. These are great ways to add some challenge and new elements to the races. Whether you use an Apple, Droid or Blackberry product there are apps for you. We ask that you go to your App Store on your device to download your choice of Free QR Code Scanners. We like Red Laser but the choice is yours.

CityScape Adventures
It was a hot one in San Diego this weekend but the CityScapers kept their cool and had an amazing adventure. The race covered more ground this year and there were some tough challenges but everyone had a blast.
